About the Artist

Born in Ashford, Kent, my passion for art began at an early age and developed through years of independent learning and creative exploration. In 2006, I formalised my artistic education at Ashford School of Art and Design, where I gained a BTEC before progressing to a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Fine Art.

After taking a step back from my artistic career to raise my family, I continued to create whenever time allowed. Now, alongside my full-time role as an Operations Administrator within a nursing home, I have found renewed time, inspiration and motivation to dedicate to my artistic practice.

My work primarily encompasses drawing and acrylic painting, and more recently I have been exploring acrylic pouring techniques. Through my work, I am increasingly drawn to themes of mental health, spirituality and healing, using art as a means of exploring emotions, ideas and personal experiences.

I enjoy experimenting with different mediums, techniques and approaches, allowing each piece to develop organically and take its own direction. This freedom to explore enables me to create work that is both individual and reflective of the ideas and emotions behind it.

As I continue to develop my practice, I am excited to embrace new creative opportunities, experiment with different techniques and discover where this evolving artistic journey will lead.
